Scheme and Registration
The Abbeyfields Barker Rewards scheme is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. A Scheme member shall be referred to as “member” in these terms and conditions.
Barker rewards cards remain the property of Abbeyfields Ltd and must be returned to us on request or destroyed when no longer valid for use. Points can only be redeemed by the Barker Rewards account holder with which the Barker card(s) is associated. The Reward card is not a charge card, cheque guarantee card, credit or debit card.
Abbeyfields Ltd reserves the right to change the Scheme including rewards which form part of the Scheme or withdraw any rewards from the Scheme, at any time.
Points - Points can be exchanged for rewards of the type and at the rate promoted. To collect Points:

the member must present their Barker Rewards card to the sales assistant at the till before each transaction begins.

Points can only be collected by direct payment. We cannot award points from insurance cheques.

If a card is forgotten/lost then points can only be awarded within 1 week of the payment being processed.

Points will only be awarded when outstanding fees are paid promptly.

Please note that where payment is made over 2 weeks after invoice date, then the Practice reserves the right not to award points on this delayed transaction.

Abbeyfields Ltd reserves the right to vary the rate at which Points are awarded. New cardholders can use their Rewards card the first time they present it on a transaction of £20 or greater.
Redemption - Only Points which are validly acquired on qualifying transactions ,in accordance with these terms and conditions ,can be redeemed.
Rewards - Rewards are subject to availability. Should any reward become unavailable owing to a high level of demand or for any reason outside of Abbeyfields reasonable control, Abbeyfields reserves the right to substitute an alternative reward of similar value.
No cash alternative will be given in lieu of any rewards.
Termination of membership - Abbeyfields reserves the right at any time to withdraw or cancel any individual Rewards card or terminate any Barkers Rewards account without notice.
Termination of Scheme - We reserve the right to terminate the Scheme at any time.
Data Protection - Collection and use of personal information An applicant’s or a member’s personal information will be collected and used as described below. Personal information includes information provided in the Registration Form or during telephone registration and information regarding use of a members Barkers Reward card. Personal information will be collected and used only by Abbeyfields Ltd.

to provide details of the Rewards Scheme, the Points earned, services and information requested and to dispatch rewards;

for purposes related to administration and management of the Rewards scheme including improving the scheme; fraud prevention and detection; statistical analysis; market research; and

to send information about Abbeyfields products and services which may be of interest where the applicant or member has consented to receive such information.

NO information provided by members will be passed to any third party: it will remain solely for use by Abbeyfields to improve its Service to Clients.
General

Our decision regarding withdrawal or cancellation of any individual card or termination of any Rewards account is final.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
